Loveworld Music Festival is a vision from God to
celebrate God given musical talent in anyone who
desires to show forth that gift in them.
The festival is open to everyone who is born again
and genuinely believes that he or she has a natural
talent for music. The contestants will be required
to sing gospel/inspirational songs throughout the
competition.
The 1st edition of the program held in 2007 and it was a total blessing to everyone
who participated in the auditions and watched the grand finale live on Loveworld
TV.
This year’s competition has already started with auditions holding on Saturday
2nd of August, 9th of August, 16th of August and 23rd of August 2008. The contestants
would sing without instruments or backing music tracks before 4 judges. If the
judges decide that the contestant sings well and deserves to progress in the
competition they would be informed.
There wil be a semi-final contest on the 30th
of August. The contestants who will have progressed
to perform during this round will be asked to
sing with a live music band or music backing tracks
before the judges who then will decide the
progress to the grand finale. Loveworld Music Festival
- 2008 will be broadcast live on Loveworld
TV, the date which is in October 2008 will be announced
soon.
