1Corinthians 12:28 ‘And God hath set some in church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, …’.

The bible is clear about the offices that God has set Himself in the church to teach us the word of God. However, there is need for us to be able to apply this word in specific areas of our lives because it is the application of the word of God that brings results to us.

He makes His word available to us through His ministers that He has blessed us with. He enlightens us with His word, letting us know that the word will produce results whenever it is applied.

Call in programmes are a sort of interactive avenues by which we can know how to apply the word and there are several of such on Loveworld TV that have been designed to help us in this regard. Some of these are Totally addicted, Loveworld football, Impacting your world, etc.

In most cases, such programmes are directed towards certain categories of people such as Totally Addicted  is for the singles, etc and these  set of  people are able to be further enlightened in the areas that specifically apply to them.

You can call in to contribute to the topic that is being discussed or ask questions either on that topic or even in some other areas of life. You can even call in to send your personal prayer requests or testimonies on programmes like  Impacting your world.

In each of these programmes, you are made to know the area(s) of discussion and the phone line will be opened so you can call in from the comfort of your home, office, etc.

Some of the several advantages of Call in programmes are:

• While watching and listening to the programme since so many people call in, some topics/subject areas in the word of God might become clearer to you. Even some areas that you’ve never thought of before might be explained. You can get to know or become aware of some of the things happening to people beyond your immediate environs.
• Furthermore, you can learn from some peoples’ experiences, may be on how to handle a particular situation if you are faced with something similar as a person.
• You can call in to ask questions and be able to receive immediate answers, even some questions that you may be shy to ask people face to face. You can also share your personal experiences which might bless someone else that is listening. You can receive or even give someone a counsel by your contribution.
• Some things that you hear or share during a session might even inspire you to study God’s word more.
• Your contribution might just be what someone else listening needs to move on in his life.

The bible says that iron sharpens iron so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17).
