British opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said he would be willing to work with opposition parties if the Supreme Court decides parliament should be recalled.

At the start of Labour’s annual conference in the seaside resort of Brighton, Corbyn faced pressure from party members to unequivocally back remaining in the European Union in any new vote.

On the eve of a conference when party officials hoped to present Labour as a government in waiting, a new row broke out when an ally of Corbyn tried to oust deputy leader Tom Watson over Brexit. 

This week the Supreme Court will rule on whether he misled the Queen over suspending parliament – possibly raising the spectre of lawmakers returning to work to try to further challenge his plans.  Labours Jeremy Corbyn and the Government’s Foreign Secretary Dominc Raab commented in these matters…
